TWO LATE GOALS from Romelu Lukaku against his former club Chelsea sealed an FA Cup sixth round win for Everton at Goodison Park this evening.
The Belgian international opened the scoring on 77 minutes with a fine individual effort before adding a second in the closing stages to confirm the 2-0 win.
Seamus Coleman from Killybegs played right-back for Roberto Martinez’s team.
Everton’s Gareth Barry was sent off with three minutes to play for picking up a second yellow card, while Diego Costa of Chelsea had been giving his marching orders moments beforehand.
The semi-finals of the competition take place at Wembley Stadium on the weekend of April 23. Everton join Crystal Palace in the hat for Monday’s draw.
Holders Arsenal welcome Watford in the first of tomorrow’s remaining quarter-finals with Manchester United home to West Ham United in the other.
