Lifford Strabane ACs Ellie McCurdy has today added the Scottish u13 Javelin title to the u14 Irish Javelin title win just a few short weeks ago in Tullamore.
The Lifford Strabane AC athlete, coached by former javelin star, Damien Crawford, produced her best ever throw of 34.90m to take the title from Miya Waldron of Law and District AAC in second place at the Aberdeen Sports Village.
McCurdy’s throw is the second furthest throw this year by an u13 girl in either Britain or Ireland.
