RUAIRI KEATING has returned to Finn Harps for the remainder of the 2016 season.
A native of County Mayo, Keating is now in his third spell at Harps having been at the club for the first half of both the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
Keating scored six times in 2014 and another five for Harps last season. Both times he was on loan from Sligo Rovers before he put pen to paper at Galway United.
Now, the 20-year-old is in line to face his former employers with Harps set to face Galway on Friday night at Finn Park having trained with Harps last week.
“I really enjoyed my two previous spells here so it’s great to be back at Finn Harps,” Keating said.
“ The squad has achieved some great results so far this season and I intend working hard to make sure Harps can be as competitive as possible for the second half of the league campaign.”
Harps have staved off competition to land Keating with his relationship with Harps manager Ollie Horgan a big factor in his decision to agree terms in Ballybofey.
Horgan said: “The league will get even more competitive from now on because every club will be fighting tooth and nail to secure highest possible position – especially those of us who are looking to secure our premier status.
