Sean Maguire and Josh Marley got 3-5 between them yesterday evening as Robert Emmets defeated Gaoth Dobhair in the Donegal U14 Division 2 League final.
Robert Emmets 3-13 Gaoth Dobhair 2-9
It was a famous win for the Castlefin flag bearers as they defeated a hotly-tipped Gaoth Dobhair in Glenswilly.
Maguire netted a first-half goal as Robert Emmets led 1-7 to 0-5 at the short whistle and Gaoth Dobhair hit an early goal in the second half as Patrick Winters goaled.
Ciaran Dalton set Marley on his way for a goal, though, as Robert Emmets got the prize in site.
Darragh McGee’s goal had Gaoth Dobhair with hope, but a second Maguire goal had Robert Emmets in dreamland.
