FINN HARPS’ finances will be stretched even further following confirmation that next week’s SSE Airtricity League Premier Division clash with Cork City is to be rescheduled.
Harps had been set to host John Caulfield’s Rebels at Finn Park on Friday-week.
However, Cork will be hosting Swedish side BK Häcken in the second leg of their Europa League qualifier at Turner’s Cross the previous night. The first leg of that tie will take place tomorrow night at the Bravida Arena.
Harps had just one home game in June, that the 3-0 win over Sligo on June 4.
Last week’s 1-0 win over Galway United was one of three scheduled home games for Ollie Horgan’s team in July, but they will now have just two, with Wexford Youths to visit Ballybofey on July 29.

It means that in a nine-week period from the end of May Harps will have had only three home fixtures.
