THE man who refereed last year’s All-Ireland final will take charge of Donegal’s Round 4B qualifier against Galway on Saturday evening, throw-in 6pm.
Laois official Eddie Kinsella (pictured above) was today confirmed as the man in the middle for the last 12 tie that will see the winners progress into the quarter-finals.
If Donegal win they will face Connacht champions Mayo and should Galway come out on top then they will take on Monaghan, the Ulster SFC winners, in the last eight on Saturday, August 8.
Kinsella was the referee for last September’s All-Ireland final, where Donegal lost to Kerry 2-9 to 0-12 at Croke Park.
Saturday’s fixture will be preceded by the clash of Sligo and Tyrone, with Clare’s Rory Hickey officiating for the 4pm throw-in. Both games take place at Croke Park and are live on Sky Sports.
