THE GAA HAS confirmed the referee for Saturday evening’s All-Ireland quarter-final between Donegal and Dublin at Croke Park.
Down whistler Ciaran Brannigan has been appointed to take charge of the blockbuster at GAA headquarters, which will be sold out for Saturday’s double-header, also including the Tyrone-Mayo quarter-final.
Brannigan was the man in the middle for the Connacht final replay between Galway and Roscommon and also refereed the Monaghan-Longford qualifer last month.
Brannigan had been set to referee Donegal’s opening Ulster SFC clash with Fermanagh, but had to pull out of that game because of an injury.
