RAIN ruined St Johnston’s chances of picking up a home win this afternoon against Glendermott.
At the Railway Road, St Johnston put Glendermott into bat and they reached 125 for 7 in their 20 extras.
Stevie Moore top scored for Glendermott with 34, while Scott Laird contributed 16 and Alan Johnson added 14 to the tally.
David Anthony and Nathan Cole claimed two wickets apiece before St Johnston went to work with the bat.
However, play was stopped after only eight overs as the rain lashed down on the Foyle.
By then, Jack Macbeth’s unbeaten 25 had helped St Johnston to 37-1.
