JASON QUIGLEY’S fight with Jorgé Melendez will be streamed live on Saturday night after all.
There had been fears of a blackout earlier this week when Sheer Sports Management confirmed that Quigley’s joust against the Puerto Rican was not part of the listings.
However, Quigley’s publicist, Rachel Charles, has now announced that – following negotiations between the parties – the bout will be shown by RingTv.com, who have screen several of the Ballybofey man’s previous contests.
The Quigley-Melendez fight is the main support bout to the big gig of the night on Saturday at The Forum in Inglewood – Bernard Hopkins will exit boxing’s stage after his meeting with Joe Smith Jr.
The 51-year-old Hopkins will go down as one of the all-time greats of the sport and now Quigley will get a chance to not only showcase his talents to the 18,000 crowd at The Forum – but to the global audience who will be tuning in to watch.
