JASON QUIGLEY fans have been left disappointed with the news that the Ballybofey man’s latest professional fight won’t be televised.
With the bout not making the television schedule Stateside and the fact that RingTVlive.com – who have shown some of Quigley’s contests so far – won’t be covering the event, it means that a stream of the fight is also unlikely.
However, Quigley’s publicist, Rachel Charles, has promised to do her best to show the fight on her Facebook page, something that will be confirmed closer to the time.
Quigley faces the experienced Puerto Rican Melendez (30-7-1) on the undercard of Bernard Hopkins’ farewell bout against Joe Smith Junior at The Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles.
Quigley hasn’t fought since a decision win against James De La Rosa in May, having beaten Freddy Lopez inside the opening round in March.
A planned bout in September was cancelled after Quigley sprained a wrist, but the Golden Boy Promotions prospect is itching to get back in action on Saturday.
