The first out of the 2015/16 Mulroy Links was staged at Rosapenna Golf Resort on Saturday last.
The Links is becoming one of the North West biggest golfing events over the winter months  The results were as follows in the nett section the winner was Stephen Loughrey (21) 43 points , 2ND Pat Boyce (8)  41 points, 3rd Barry Mc Menamin (5) 38 points 4th 4th Pat Campbell (14) 38 points.
In the gross section the winner was Stephen Connolly ((7) 34 points 2nd Enda Kennedy (+1) 34 points, 3rd Seamus Clinton (PGA) 33 points 4th Brendan Mc Grath (5) 32 points BOT  The next Mulroy Links outing is scheduled for  Saturday 10th October at Rosapenna Golf Resort.
Members are reminded that they must contact the host club to book their tee time for each round. All members please note  should note that if you unable to play on the day please ensure that your name is removed from the time sheet, thus allowing someone else a place in this prestigious event.

The winner of the Wednesday open staged on  16th September was Eugene O’Donnell (12) Letterkenny 41 points, runner up Ian Morton (12)  Portsalon 40 points, gross Joe Coyle Portsalon 32 points. On Saturday teh winner of the open competition was Colin Talbot (26) 37 points, runner up Roger Whitesid (19) 36 points The CSS was 37  points. The winner of the members competition on Sunday was Steven Connolly (7) 69, runner up Eamon Mc Dermott (4) 71 gross Cathal Canning (9) 79. The CSS was 71
Portsalon Past Captains
On Saturday last the past Captains from Portsalon Golf Club gathered for the annual J J Wall Cup. The overall winner was Michael Shields  wth 41 points, runner up Patrick Shields 40 points, 3rd Hugh Mc Ginley 38 points. Best nines went to Andy Boland and James Sandilands. The CSS was 37 points.
