The race for Dr Maguire has been whittled down to the last four teams – but where will the famous old piece of silver rest this winter?
Gaoth Dobhair, Glenswilly, Naomh Conaill and Sean MacCumhaills are the final four standing in the 2018 Donegal SFC.
Favourites Gaoth Dobhair were highly impressive in their 8-13 to 3-12 win over Bundoran in Ballybofey yesterday evening.
They face Sean MacCumhaills – who put St Michael’s to the sword on Saturday. MacCumhaills earned their 2-10 to 0-13 win via their most impressive Championship display in some time.
Glenswilly had little trouble in seeing off Four Masters 0-12 to 0-5 in drenching conditions on Saturday night.
They take on Naomh Conaill, who knocked the holders, Kilcar, out, as Kieran Gallagher’s goal and two points from Brendan McDyer gave the Glenties side a 1-9 to 0-6 win.
