Podcast #27 – 2016 North-West 10k is officially launched

THE 20^th North-West 10k was officially launched yesterday in the Mount Errigal Hotel.

The event takes place on Sunday, May 1^st at 2pm and details were unveiled at the function.

It has been confirmed that The Irish Pilgrimage Trust – Donegal Branch and Spina Bifida Ireland, Donegal Branch will be the benefitting charities this year,

The North West 10k is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has raised nearly €710,000 for 31 charities to date.

At the launch, Donegal Sport Hub’s Charlie Collins spoke with Irish Athletic team manager Patsy McGonagle; Caroline Lafferty and Mary Dunnion from the charities; Neil Martin, who assists in the organising of the race; and North-West 10k Committee chairman James Boyle.
