There were joyous scenes at Loreto Secondary School as their victorious basketball heroes returned back to Letterkenny.
Loreto overcame Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal from Blarney by 49 to 42 in yesterday’s All-Ireland Schools League Junior A Girls final.
In a hard-fought game, Loreto – led by captain Maria Kealy – came up trumps to win the silverware and they received a big welcome back home yesterday evening.
