Bonagee United toasted a landmark moment this afternoon as they won their first Donegal League Sunday title.
A one-all draw at Gweedore Celtic was enough to secure the Division One crown – their first at Sunday level in the 48 years of Donegal League history.
Glenn Gallagher’s penalty put Bonagee in front, but Colin Ferry drew level for Gweedore Celtic.
Bonagee only needed a point to secure the prize and Damien McClafferty’s team got the job done.
