Photo finish gives Martin Harley a big win in Doha

Trentagh jockey Martin Harley had a superb win this evening at the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Cup in Doha when he guided Pleaseletmewin to victory.

It took the race judge to award the win to Pleaseletmewin in a photo finish from Vitally Important.

The Jassim Mohammed Ghazali-trained Pleaseletmewin was handed the £84,000 first prize.

Pleaseletmewin was brought out of the Ralph Beckett yard 16 months ago.

After the win, the in-form Harley said: “They went strong up front and that played to my strengths because he stuck his head down all the way to the line.”
