Patrons urged to arrive early for Donegal Sports Star Awards

The 2017 Donegal Sports Star Awards take place tonight in the Mount Errigal Hotel.

The message from Chairperson Neil Martin is for guests to be in the hotel for 6.30 in order to be seated in good time as the first awards will be presented at 7pm sharp.

The special guest will be former World Snooker Champion Ken Doherty

From St Johnston and now based in Letterkenny, Chris was a nominee for NUJ Sports Journalist of the Year in 2010. Honoured by the Donegal Boxing Board in 2016 for his coverage on the sport.
