PATRICK MCBREARTY carried the fight for Donegal against Monaghan and was unlucky to end up on the losing side.
The Kilcar forward scored six points and was Donegal’s most potent attacker. However, it was the Monaghan side, managed by Malachy O’Rourke, who got over the line to win narrowly, 0-11 to 0-10, to win Anglo-Celt for the second time in three years.
