The Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub Sports Person of the Week, in association with O’Reilly’s is back.
Each weekly award winner will receive a kitbag, a jacket and a bobble hat, supplied by O’Reilly’s.
The award winner will be chosen via a public vote from a shortlist selected by our panel.
O’Reilly’s Sportswear was founded in 2017 by well-known Twin Towns sporting brothers Steven and Martin O’Reilly.

Kevin Boyle (PCC Falcarragh)
Last Monday, PCC Falcarragh defeated Glenamaddy Community School in the FAI Schools Junior ‘B’ Boys National Cup semifinal.
PCC enjoyed a 5-0 win at Pairc Joe. Kevin Boyle netted twice for Packie Doohan’s side.
Mark English (UCD AC, Ireland)
Mark English won a bronze medal at the 2019 European Indoor Athletics Championships in Glasgow on Sunday evening. English was reinstated into the final after being unfairly impeded in his semi-final on Saturday.
The Letterkenny man – back to his best after an injury-hit spell – ran a superb race on Sunday at the Emirates Arena to win bronze, finishing just behind race winner Álvaro de Arriba from Spain and Britain’s Jamie Webb, who won silver.
Caolan McClintock (Donegal Under-16s)
Donegal’s Under-16s began their Buncrana Cup sojourn in style with an 8-13 to 0-3 win over Fermanagh in Ballyshannon on Saturday.
Caolan McClintock was on fire for Luke Barrett’s Donegal. McClintock helped himself to three goals and four points in the rout.
Geraldine McLaughlin (Donegal Ladies)
Donegal’s ladies continue to fly high in the Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1.
On Saturday, Maxi Curran’s team overcame Tipperary, claiming a narrow 3-11 to 3-9 win in Convoy to make it four wins from four.
Geraldine McLaughlin led the line superbly for Donegal, scoring 1-5, and once more delivering a top-class display.
Daniel McNulty (Kildrum Tigers Reserves)
Kildrum Tigers Reserves came from 2-0 down to defeat Drumoghill FC Reserves 3-2 to get their hands on the Old Orchard Division 2 title on Saturday.
Daniel McNulty netted twice for the St Johnston side, as they made sure of the silverware after Brian Coll kick-started the comeback.
