Some good news on the Otway team front last Saturday when the Minor League team under the stewardship of Martin Duffy, put in a strong performance at home in their first leg match against Cruit Island GC.Â
Notching up a five-nil result at home leaves the team in a strong position to qualify, with the second leg to come on Sunday 27th May.
More action coming up this Sunday 20th May is the Fort Royal cup, a singles stableford competition for male members, and the Otway 100 open team scramble on Saturday 26th May.
Entry to the Otway 100 is open to all teams of 4 players, any combination, of members and non-members of Otway GC, and the cost is a mere €60 per team including a post round bite to eat.
