CHILDREN from Drumman National School in Ramelton took part in the Dare to Believe Olympic Challenge in May.
They joined Team Ireland on a virtual journey to Tokyo.
By logging their activities, the boys and girls watched their tracker bring them across the world on the road to Tokyo.
There were four stopovers en route, where they learned about the Olympic values, the history of the games and got some insights and tips from elite Irish athletes.
The children really enjoyed this challenge. They loved all the activities at the different stops from making posters to peace cranes and learning about all the different olympics sports.
To top it all off they received a personal message from Irish international hurdler Sarah Lavin congratulating them on reaching Tokyo!
