THE FIXTURES AND VENUES for next month’s North-West Under-21 Cup have been confirmed.
Declan Bonner’s Donegal are taking part in the competition along with Sligo, Fermanagh and Mayo.
The tournament is being used as preparation for Donegal’s Ulster Under-21 Championship, which begins in March against Derry or Antrim.
Bonner will be without Darach O’Connor because of a cruciate ligament injury, while several of his panel have been called into Rory Gallagher’s Donegal senior squad for the Dr McKenna Cup.
On Saturday January 2, Donegal will play Sligo at the Sligo GAA Centre of Excellence on the Strandhill Road at 12noon.
A week later, on January 9, also at 12noon, they will take on Fermanagh at Fr Tierney Park in Ballyshannon while the final group game sees them host Mayo on January 16 at 12 noon in Sean MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey.
The top two teams will contest the final on January 23rd at the Sligo Centre of Excellence.
