SHANE MCGINTY KEPT UP his goalscoring form this afternoon with a double strike in Institute’s 3-0 win over Lisburn Distillery.
McGinty netted either side of half-time – taking his total to nine goals in his last four games – as Kevin Deery’s men took a comfortable home win at The Riverside Stadium.
McGinty headed home the opener in the 44th minute and, three minutes after the break, he doubled the lead, firing in from close range.
‘Stute made the win safe through Gareth Brown, but the day, again, belonged to McGinty.
During the week, the St Johnston man was named Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association Championship Player of the Month for February.

In February, McGinty scored hat-tricks against Bangor and Knockbreda as well as scoring one against Harland Wolff Welders.
“I think we’ve really turned a corner, our work rate has been great and we are really flying as a team,” McGinty had said during the week.
