JOHN PENROSE HAS been installed as the new Robert Emmets senior team manager.
The Aghyaran native, whose son Martin was an All-Ireland-winning forward with Tyrone.
Robert Emmets had a difficult season in 2015 with just one win in Division 4 and only Pettigo beneath them at the campaign’s close.
However the Castlefin club have wasted no time in getting their plans together for next year.
Penrose has previous in Donegal having managed Red Hughs from 2007-’09.
Only a play-off defeat to Carndonagh denied Penrose promotion with Red Hughs from Division 4.
In 2015, Penrose was with Gortin in Tyrone.
