KENNY SHIELS IS the man entrusted with improving the fortunes of Derry City next season.
Sheils (pictured above) was at Leckview Park last Sunday to see the club’s reserves draw to 2-2 with Letterkenny Rovers in the Ulster Senior League
Afterwards, he spoke to Charlie Collins of Donegal Sport Hub about the challenges ahead at the Brandywell and of course, the re-acquaintance with Finn Harps, who earned promotion from the SSE Airtricity League Division One via the play-offs.
“It can only be good for the area and both clubs will benefit,” Shiels said of the north-western neighbours being back in the top flight. “Finn Harps and Derry City can only benefit each other. That can only be good for the communities.”
