National Motified title for Donegal crew Eves and Melly

Donegal crew Kevin Eves and Chris Melly are the Treaty Plant Hire Modified Champions for 2018.

The Pettigo-Lettermacaward crew took the title despite retiring with mechanical problems in the Corolla on the opening day of the Cork 20 International Rally.

This left Dungloe man John Bonner poised to take the title only for engine problems late on the second day forcing his Escort out.

Bonner’s retirement handed the title to Eves, who repeated his 2017 championship success.
