A National Coach Education Festival event is to be held in Donegal next weekend, it has been confirmed.
“Upon many requests, we are delighted that we have secured a National Coach Education Festival Event in Co.Donegal to prevent any travel to Dublin for the coaches throughout the North West Region,” Shane Barr said.
See below all the key information on the upcoming Coach Education Festival running from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th February, which is much anticipated.
Shane said: “This will feature four new courses throughout the weekend, providing an opportunity for coaches working at various different levels of the game to complete their formal coach education to help them maximize players development.”

National GK C Licence
National D Licence
Adult Intro
Youth Intro
Courses Schedule:
National GK C Licence – A coach must have completed the National GK D Licence and Fundamentals GK.
Friday 10th February 2017 6pm – 10pm
Saturday 11th February 2017 9.30am – 5.30pm
Sunday 12th February 2017 9.30am – 4pm
National D Licence – A coach must have completed 4v4 SSG, KickStart 1, 7v7 SSG and Kick Start 2
Sunday 12th February 2017 9am – 4.30pm
Adult Intro – Coach currently coaching in the Adult game and completed child welfare workshop
Friday 10th February 2017 6pm – 10pm
Saturday 11th February 2017 9am – 6pm
Youth Intro – Coach currently coaching in youth game U13 – U18 and have completed child welfare.
