DONEGAL Women’s League U19’s suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Peamount travelled at Leckview Park yesterday afternoon.

Catherine Grier’s free kick was well saved by Peas Keeper Summer Lawless in the third min after Ciara McGarvey was fouled.
Donegal’s Orla Corry tipped the ball over the bar from a shot by Tara O’Hanlon.
Caoimhne Heron continued to find space in behind Peamount’s defence, and had a half chance from the edge of the area that drifted wide.
Corry kept Donegal in the game with a point blank reaction save from Michelle Doolan.
Down the right hand side, Molly Page found herself in space and dinked the ball to the far post where Aoife Gallanagh calmly put the ball into the Pea’s net
Corry once again pulled of a full stretch saved however on the 33rd minute a deflection off one of the Donegal defenders had the game all level.
Heron did brilliantly to charge into the box from the left hand side but her shot again was just over.
As both defence stood firm, the game flowed from end to end, but in the 63rd minute, from Donegal being on the attack a clearance by Emma Barrrt found Orla Fitzpatrick out on the left who got in behind the Donegal defence to give Peamount the lead.
