Naomh Padraig Lifford’s very own Jack Quinn played the full game for the Donegal Under-21 team at right corner back as they drew with Mayo in the final of the North-West Cup.
The game finished 1-9 a piece after extra time (a date for the replay has yet to be set). Well done to Jack from everyone at the Club.
CLUB LOTTO
The first Club Lotto draw of the year took place on Monday the 25th of January at the clubhouse. The numbers drawn were 1, 15, 22, and 26. There was no jackpot winner. The runners-up prize of €100 went to Kyle Flannigan of The Common, Lifford who matched three of the numbers drawn.
Next week’s jackpot is €1050.
THE WEEK AHEAD
Men’s team training resumes this week with training taking place on Tuesday evening, Friday evening and Sunday morning each week. All training sessions will take place at the Club’s training pitch in Rossgier. All players over the age of 16 are welcome to play for the coming season. Exact training times will be posted on Facebook during the week.
Under-8 and Under-10 also resumes this week. Training takes place this Friday evening at 6:30PM in the Community Centre in Lifford. Could all players please bring €2 to cover the cost of renting the Community Centre.
