In response to the Syrian refugee crisis, the Club has organised a drop-off-point at the clubhouse in The Roughan for donations. Donated items can be left in the prefab building to the right of the main Clubhouse building. The gates of the Clubs facilities will remain open at all times over the coming weeks in order to allow people to make donations.
The following list of items is urgently required: Blankets; towels; tents (particularly 4 person tents and larger); heavy duty rubbish bags; torches; candles; batteries; medicines; first aid kits; toiletries; winter clothing; hats and scarves; coats; gloves; nappies and baby wipes; shoes for all ages (must be in reasonable condition)
The 34th club lotto draw of the year took place on Monday the 14th of September at the clubhouse. The numbers drawn were 15, 21, 23, and 32. There was no jackpot winner. Kyran Bogle of Porthall matched three of the numbers drawn; Kyran received €100. Next week’s jackpot is €2050.
