The Seniors won an all-important league match against the in-form Fanad Gaels in the Banks in glorious sunshine on Sunday afternoon in a match which they controlled throughout even though they allowed a big lead to narrow.
Fanad, in determined mood to keep their battle against the drop on course were strong physical opponents but the lads were very impressive each time Fanad Gaels came back and were able to get the crucial scores at the end of some good passages of play. Great result, well done to all.
There was yet another impressive win for the Reserves which sees them secure their top of table place with their near rivals at the top Cloich Cheann Fhaola losing on Sunday. This mix of experience and youth have been increasingly impressive all season and they are a pleasure to watch in full flow. Like the Seniors, they will want more for next weeks visit by Termon in the Championship but the talent and determination is there in abundance.
The total amount collected at the Annual Youth Development collection at church gates was: Kincasslagh €214 and Annagry €410.  The club wish to express thanks to all subscribers and collectors.
As mentioned above, the Senior Football Championship returns to the Banks this Saturday evening when Naomh Muire take on Termon. Admission to the matches is €10 as per County Directive for Championship Games. Reserves at 5:30 with Seniors at 7pm.
Under 14 Divisional Final – Naomh Muire v Naomh Columba will be played this Wednesday night in Ardara at 7pm. Extra time will be played in the event of a draw.
This is a great achievement by the Under 14s to make this final and we ask that as many as possible make it up to Ardara on Wednesday for the match.

The next 100+Club drawn will take place on Wed. 26th August. Can all sellers get their subs collected on time and in to the co-ordinator so the draw can be done on schedule. Our senior Ladies exited the Junior A Championship on Sunday in Buncrana. We have a young side this year and are making good shapes for the future, they will now concentrate on the remainder of our league matches!
U16 Ladies Football: We have a game scheduled for this week against Gaoth Dobhair, could girls and supporters watch the ladies Facebook Pages as this game date and venue may change. Our minor girls are through to the County semi-finals and are waiting for the draw to be made, Date,venue and opponents will be confirmed later this week.
