SHANE MCDEVITT BAGGED three goals as Naomh Conaill enjoyed an impressive 16-point win over Naomh Muire in the Under-21A championship this evening.
Naomh Conaill 3-13 Naomh Muire 0-6
The depth of talent available to Leo McLoone – the Naomh Conaill manager – was evident with the fact the win was so comprehensive even without county minors JD Boyle, Kieran Gallagher and Eoghan McGettigan.

However, McDevitt was in excellent form in front of goal for the home side at Davy Brennan Memorial Park in Glenties.
His first goal came after 10 minutes when he tucked home after Ethan O’Donnell’s spilled ball fell his way. That made the score 1-3 to 0-0 and nine minutes before half-time McDevitt got a second goal when he intercepted a kick-out from Gerard Boyle.
It was 2-4 to 0-2 at the break for Naomh Conaill, with Jack Boyle scoring both Naomh Muire points.
Charlie McGuinness scored a first half point for Naomh Conaill and would add five more in the second half and McDevitt’s hat-trick was following a strike that stuck in the stantion.
