LEO MCLOONE WAS the man on the podium again this week following on from lifting the Dr Maguire last Sunday.
The Naomh Conaill captain saw his side win the Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta thanks to a victory over Kilcar this afternoon in the re-arranged final in Ardara.
It was the first time the Glenties club had won the championship and with the Dr Maguire safely tucked up for the winter and Trillick to come in the Ulster Club SFC next Sunday, it’s exciting times for the blue and white.
“It’s great to have all the Naomh Conaill faithful and football means a lot to them,” McLoone told Alan Foley of Donegal Sport Hub. “It’s special because it’s the first one too.”
