Naomh Conaill ensured that they maintained their impressive start to the league campaign with an emphatic victory over Glenswilly on Sunday at Davy Brennan Park.

Naomh Conaill took control of the contest early on, leading by 16 points (3-02 to 0-02) at the interval despite not having their county men at their disposal.
Glenswilly battled hard but felt the effects of life without three of their star players in Gary McFadden, Keelan McFadden and Caolan Kelly.
Two goals from Kieran Gallagher and a diverted penalty from Charlie McGuinness supplied the early goals, while Eoin Waide, Dermot Molloy, Dermot Brick, Brendan McDyer and McGuinness chipped in with points of their own.
The game took a turn in the second half with both sides adopting a pedestrians pace with the only acting come in the final period when Brendan McDyer hit Naomh Conaill’s fourth goal from ten metres.
Other points in the half came by the way of a single Mark McAteer point, while Caoimhin Marley converted five frees for Glenswilly after the break.
