NAOMH COLMCILLE HAVE confirmed that they are seeking applications for a new manager following the departure of Francie Martin this week.
The Newtowncunningham side go into Saturday evening’s crunch clash with Urris bottom of the Division 3 table and trailing their opponents by two points.
Last year, Naomh Colmcille went on a magical run to the Intermediate Football Championship final, but lost heavily, 4-17 to 0-4, against Bundoran.
Martin was in his third season as manager at Pairc Colmcille.
“Naomh Colmcille would like to thank Francie Martin for all his hard work and dedication over the last two and a half years,” a club statement said.
“In his first year we were one game away from Division 2 and last year Francie brought us to the club’s first ever intermediate final, but unfortunately things not going or way this year we felt a change was needed.
