SEAN TIMONEY has been reappointed as the Naomh Bríd manager for the 2017 season.
Timoney’s appointment, and that of coach Dougie Corbett, was ratified at the club AGM this week.
Timoney succeeded Gerard Gallagher at Naomh Bríd last season and brought Corbett to the Ballintra men after he had been with 2015 Intermediate finalists Naomh Colmcille.
Naomh Bríd finished third in their group in the Intermediate Championship with a win over Buncrana, a narrow defeat at Naomh Columba and a draw with the eventual Intermediate winners Burt.
They lost out to Milford in the quarter-finals of the Championship.
The Trummon side had a good campaign in Division 3 of the All-County Football League.
They ended the year in third, just three points off Buncrana, who were promoted into Division 2.
David Walsh is set to go under the knife to repair a hip injury soon, but hopes are high that the Donegal panelist will be back to aid their IFC bid next summer.
