NA ROSSA are on a good run of form with impressive wins recently and proved too strong for St Mary’s in Dooey this evening in the AllSportStore.com Division 4.
Na Rossa 2-11 Convoy 1-9
The home side went into the break leading by a goal which was well taken by Christian Bonner after being played through by Odhran Molloy with a terrific pass. John Paul McCready, with two, and Eugene Molloy with one registered the other scores of the half for the home side. It was 1-3 to 0-3.

St Mary’s kept in touch with scores from James Kee, Peter Blake and Anthony Brown.
The second half started with Anthony Brown scoring a fine point for the visitors but a well taken Odhran Molloy goal put six points between the sides 2-3 to 0-4 and the hosts looked comfortable.
To St Mary’s credit they stuck at the task and were rewarded with a penalty after Raymond McNamee won a ball around the square and it was well finished by Anthony Brown followed by a score to leave just two points in the game.

That was as close as it would get as Jamie McCready, Adam McHugh, John McDyre and Molloy’s brace again would add scores to finish the game strongly as Na Rossa won by a score line 2-11 to 1-9.
Odhran Molloy and Conor Bonner impressed for the home team as Anthony Brown finished with a personal tally of 1-5 for Convoy. This win lifts Na Rossa to fourth place in the table.
