TERMON woman Mya Alcorn is part of an Irish Under-18 Women’s Squad for a training weekend in Scotland.
Alcorn has featured for Ireland and Ulster in recent years and the Letterkenny Rugby Club ace is on a 24-player panel for this weekend.
The squad will travel to Inverness to train alongside the Scottish Under-18s. The weekend will conclude with a training match against the Scots.
The players have been selected form a larger group of 36, who have had back to back training weekend at the IRFU High performance centre for the past two weekends.
Alcorn, Caoimhe O’Callaghan and Chisom Uguwera have been previously been capped at Under-18 Sevens level last year.
Alcorn is a student at Loreto Secondary School in Letterkenny and has also played Gaelic football for Termon.
