CIARAN COLL will undergo an MRI scan at the beginning of the week to determine the extent of a knee injury that saw him stretchered off during last night’s game against Dundalk.
The Finn Harps left-back fell awkwardly in the Harps penalty area during the closing stages of a match Harps lost 3-0 at Oriel Park.

Coll received lengthy medical treatment on the pitch before being carried off.
While an x-ray at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Droghda confirmed no breakage in his leg, the 24-year-old St Johnston man will have a scan next week when the seriousness of the injury will be diagnoses.
Coll is wearing a protective brace on his left leg and Harps manager Ollie Horgan admits that he is concerned that the former Hearts youth could be out long term.
“It’s certainy worrying, especially when no-one was around him when it happened. That’s a bad indicator,” Horgan said.
Coll was playing his 175th game for Harps last night and has been acting as the team captain since club captain Kevin McHugh has gone out of the starting XI.
