THREE DONEGAL FOOTBALLERS played a part last night as DCU overcame Cork IT to reach the semi-finals of the Fresher ‘A’ Football Championship.
St Eunan’s Conor Morrison and Naomh Ultan’s Daniel Gallagher started in the DCU defence, while St Eunan’s forward Michael Miller came off the bench to kick two points in the 2-8 to 0-8 win.

Meath’s Ronan Jones hit a pair of goals in the opening 20 minutes for DCU and they proved crucial.
Morrison and Gallagher played key roles in the rearguard as they kept Cork IT’s comeback at bay.
The introduction of Miller was crucial and he clipped two excellent points from play as DCU booked aspot in the semi-finals of the Corn Daithi Billings.
