Donegal’s Dr McKenna Cup game against Monaghan, postponed in Clones yesterday, has been rescheduled by the Ulster Council’s Competitions Controls Committee (CCC).
The game was called off late in the day yesterday, seven minutes after the appointed 2pm start time in fact.
The game was pushed back to 2.30pm in the hope that St Tiernach’s Park would thaw sufficiently.
With supporters in their seats, the game was shelved, much to the disgruntlement of those who traveled.
The game will now take place this Sunday, January 14, at 2pm in Clones.
Donegal will face Fermanagh in Ballybofey on Wednesday night at 8pm.
