MONA McSharry will swim for a European medal in Budapest tomorrow.
McSharry came through her 100m breaststroke semi-final at the LEN European Aquatics Championships this evening.
McSharry finished in 1:06.42 – her second fastest ever time in the event.
Marlin’s Swimming Club ace McSharry is the sixth fastest qualifier for tomorrow’s final.
Already assured of a place at the Tokyo Olympics, McSharry – a student at University of Tennessee – came through this morning’s heat in 1:06.97.
She goes in the final tomorrow evening in Budapest.
