Milford secured a safe passage to the quarter-finals of the Donegal IFC thanks to an eight-point win over Naomh Ultan in Dunkineely.

Milford lead by 2-06 to 0-04 at the break after an impressive first-half performance.
Goals by Darragh Black and Joey Cullen had them in control and they were always in control after that.
Tony McNamee scored three of Milford’s opening four points, two from play, with Luke Barrett adding the other from play. Naomh Ultan’s only score in the early stages came from Daniel Gallagher.
In the 18th minute Milford opened the home defence with a flowing move with Kane and Christopher Barrett setting up Darragh Black who hammered home.
Cian Kennedy kicked a couple of fine points but in between Joey Cullen pointed a super effort and Luke Barrett added his second from a free, to leave it 1-6 to 0-3 to Milford.In the final minute of first-half normal time Milford struck another killer blow when Joey Cullen, set-up by Namee’s clever flick, blasted to the net from an narrow angle.
Cian Kennedy kicked his third point of the game to end the first-half scoring with Milford ahead by 2-6 to 0-4.
The teams shared the opening six points of the second-half, Kennedy, Peter Alvey and Aiden Duddy for Naomh Ultan with two from Kane Barrett and one from McNamee for Milford.
Kennedy added his 5th in the 44th minute but a minute later it was game over when Kane Barrett fielded a high ball close to goal, turned and hammered it to the net to make it 3-9 to 0-8.
The final 15 minutes were well contested by both sides with Kennedy and Alan Lyons adding good scores for the home side and Kane Barrett and sub Cathal Mc Gettigan replying for Milford to leave it 3-13 to 0-14 at the finish and a quarter-final spot secured for Milford.
