MILFORD HAD CATHAL MCGETTIGAN to thank for eight points as they defeated Glenfin at Moyle View Park.
Milford 1-12 Glenfin 1-8
After their win at Naomh Muire last time out, it’s now two from three for the side managed by Danny O’Donnell, while Glenfin have yet to pick up a point for their efforts.
The closest either side came to a goal in first half was when Liam O’Meara made a top class save from Darragh Black.
That would’ve extended the lead for Milford but they’d have gone in content at 0-8 to 0-3 up.
Paddy O’Connor and Kevin McGlynn helped Glenfin close their deficit to three points by the 39th minute, but Milford responded with points from Gary Merritt and McGettigan before Brandon Toye found the net after a fine team move.
Glenfin lost Gareth Martin to two yellow cards, but they kept going right to the end, and David Carr scored a consolation goal at the death.
