Milford fell just short of reaching an Ulster Intermediate club final, losing to Rostrevor by the tightest of margins.
Milford 0-11 0-12 Rostrevor
The Down champions opened up a three point lead going into the break. A lead that would prove vital in the outcome of the game as despite strong efforts, Milford could not claw it back.
The Donegal side did however reduce the deficit to just a single point with five minutes to go, but they were unable to find an equalising score. Milford can be proud of their season, staying in division one and winning the intermediate championship is an achievement that any club would be happy with.
Rostrevor will face Tyrone champions Moy in the Ulster final. Milford will be heartbroken to miss out on the big occasion knowing how tight the margins were.
