Milford celebrate Under-16 crown with win over spirited Ardara

MILFORD WERE LAST night celebrating victory in the County Under-16 ladies final in Convoy.

Milford 3-4 Ardara 2-5

The Moyle View side got out of the blocks quickly and dominated the first half going in seven points up at the break. They also started the 2nd half well and went 10 points up with six minutes to go before conceding a sloppy goal which gave Ardara a lifeline.

Ardara were then awarded a penalty which they converted and tagged on another two points to make for a very exciting finish, but Na Galloglaigh held on for a well deserved victory.
