The Donegal LGFA nomination for the Ulster Ladies Gaelic Young Player of the Year is Megan Ryan.
The midfielder fought back from injury last year to this year help the Donegal U16s lift their first A provincial title in 9 years.
Megan, who plays her club football with Milford, has already been named the County U16 Player of the Year.
Her performances throughout the Ulster Championship were awesome, not least in the Ulster final win over Cavan in May where she started the second half by winning the throw-in and scoring a point to set the Donegal team on their way to victory.
The Mulroy College pupil was a star with the U16 team off the pitch too; someone the other players looked up to for her dedication, or turned to for help and a laugh. A real team player and a great role model for all.
The winner of the award will be announced next month. We wish Megan all the best.
