PAULA MCGRORY hit four goals yesterday evening as Illies Celtic swept aside Fanad United in the Ulster Senior Women’s Cup final.
Illies Celtic 6 Fanad United 0
McGrory, Illies’ ace markswoman, was on fire with a deadly performance as Illies once again took hold of the Ulster prize at the Lakeside.
John Doherty’s team were in charge much of the way through the contest with Aoife McColgan, the Illies goalkeeper, keeping the sheet clean on a stress-free afternoon.
McGrory did the bulk of the damage with a typically-clinical display of scoring.
Alanah Doherty and Deirdre Grant were also on the mark as Illies took the win in style.
