SHANE MCGINTY was among the goals last night as Ballymena United hit Dollingstown for six.
McGinty netted the third goal as Ballymena scored a 6-0 win over Dollingstown to reach the quarter-finals of the BetMcLean League Cup.
Kenneth Kane and Leroy Millar had Ballymena 2-0 up at half-time.
Four minutes into the second half, McGinty connected to a Kane cross to head in number three.
Kane and Millar both added their second of the night with Ryan Mayse netting the sixth.
McGinty’s game time has been relatively limited so far this season for the Sky Blues, but the St Johnston man played 78 minutes last night.
