McBrearty was in superb form as Kilcar prevailed in a titanic tussle.
Kilcar led by three, 0-12 to 1-6, with the Naomh Conaill goal arriving via Brendan McDyer.
Matthew McClean latched onto McBrearty’s high ball in with 15 minutes to go. That put Kilcar eight up, 1-18 to 1-10.
But Naomh Conaill hit back through Leo McLoone and Kieran Gallagher goals late in the game.
